We love our Silverudd's for many reasons but the most important to us is how productive they are. Hens are on average 3 to 3.3 pounds (Small) and they produce a large 60 gram plus size egg and not just any egg a beautiful shade of green, from light sea foam to an olive shade. Due to their size they consume less feed than other breeds and in the warmer months when free ranging is an option they rarely touch their feed, if ever.
