Leg Bands — Multi-Colour Packs

A simple, colourful way to keep track of your growing flock.

Soft, stretchy leg bands make it easier to identify chicks by breed, variety, hatch group or parentage. Made from flexible elastic plastic, these lightweight bands are easy to put on and remove—helping you keep your chick identification connected to your flock records.

Available at Birch Acres in Medium and Large, with your choice of 25 or 50 bands per multi-colour pack. Each pack contains one selected size in assorted colours.

Size 4 - A starting size for standard large-fowl chicks at hatch.

Size 5 - The next size for growing chicks that have outgrown Medium, often around 3–4 weeks.

Choosing the right fit

Age is a guide; choose the size that fits your individual bird. These bands are intended for identification during early growth.

Check the fit daily and move to a larger size before the band becomes snug. Growing chicks can outgrow their bands quickly, so regular checks are an essential part of using them.
